Guidelines for image capture

Don't use a previously captured image of your ID as this is unlikely to meet the minimum requirements for authentication.

Lighting & background

Place your ID on a dark solid background and ensure even and consistent lighting to avoid glare, hotspots and shadows across the ID surface.

Correct framing

Fill as much of the viewfinder as possible (at least 80%) with your ID whilst ensuring all edges remain in shot and unobstructed.
